Wool Fingerless Gloves
Wool Fingerless Gloves
Perhaps it’s not surprising that a gardener would feel so passionate about cold fingers that she’d shepard a small flock just make her own fingerless gloves.
These mid-weight daily drivers are made of a custom blend from our own flock’s long wool (Gotland, Border Leicester & hybrids), together with wool from a flock of Dorset sheep across town at Treaty Rock Farm.
We engineered the fit and twist on the yarn for longevity and comfort. In the same way clothing is constructed with poly cotton thread for durability, our yarn is engineered with with a spec of nylon & elastic. Knitting with plating creates a higher quality finish to enable these gloves to slide on with ease and hold together as you toil.
Our wool is proudly processed, spun and knit by the artists at Still River Mill, Easton CT. By supporting our fiber farm you’re directly supporting the rich traditions of specialty fiber mills in New England and our work grazing conserved land in Little Compton, RI.
Unisex, two sizes. Size M fits small adult hands beautifully.
